At Valuation Professionals we utilize an extensive array of tools, formulas, experience, and education to determine the worth of a business. This complex analysis of Property, Assets, and Financial Information, when put together properly, gives us ways to accurately measure business value.

When do I need a Valuation?
Most companies utilize a valuation service at key times in the life cycle of their company. In each instance, it becomes important to understand the value of the business before proceeding:

  • Financial reporting in specific situations
  • Partner/Owner Buy-in/Buy-out
  • Buying and Selling
  • Adding an Employee Stock Option Plan
  • Addressing certain tax matters
  • Establishing value for insurance policies
  • Marital Dissolution/Equitable Distribution

Options Designed to Fit Your Situation

Depending on your situation and purpose, Valuation Professionals has several valuation packages to fit the job.

Detailed (Full) Valuation
This valuation report includes all of the information required by the AICPA Statements of Standards for valuation services, and will provide third parties with extensive information, including fair market value, hypothetical conditions and subsequent events, analysis of the subject entity, economic environment, key customers and suppliers, competition, business risks and future plans, financial statement and information analysis, valuation approaches and methods considered and used, valuation adjustments, a reconciliation of all valuation methods used, a list of assumptions and limiting conditions, and representations of the valuation analyst.

Summary Valuation
A client can use this option when they don’t need a valuation to meet the detailed requirements of a Full Valuation. A Summary Valuation has limited purpose, but can result in substantial savings to the client.

Company Financial Analysis & Recommendations
A proper valuation should always include an extensive amount of financial analysis of the company, including ratios and industry comparisons. The client can choose to have this analysis provided as a service unto itself without the cost of a Full Valuation, giving them access to our extensive experience and providing them valuable financial information and analysis.

Verbal Opinion of Value
Most often employed when owners are putting their business up for sale, the Verbal Opinion of Value utilizes key information to give them a broad idea of the company’s worth. A Verbal Opinion of Value cannot be used by third parties, and is our lowest-priced service.

Industry Experience
While each business is unique in its own right, our expertise at Valuation Professionals comes from serving a broad range of industries.

  • Building and Contracting (Plumbing, HVAC, Fencing, Welding, Cabinetry, etc.)
